Srinagar, Nov 1: A 44-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his room at the Housing Colony, Sanat Nagar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Raj Kumar, a resident of Lathi in Udhampur, was working as a driver with LN Malviya Company, which handles highway maintenance in the area.
According to initial reports, Kumar was discovered unconscious in his room and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of death. (Agencies)
