Kreeda Bharati celebrates Sports Day at Reasi

, Aug 30: With an aim to reach out to the rural districts of the Union Territory, Kreeda Bharati Jammu and organised a special event on in collaboration with Trikuta Shiksha Niketan High School, Ram Gali in district Reasi.

On a three-day J&K visit, National joint secretary of Kreeda Bharati, Madhumay Nath was special guest, who encouraged the young students and other visiting guests towards sports. He spoke in length about the importance of sports day and threw light on the life of struggle of Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, who earned a name for himself and the country with sheer hardwork and dedication towards the most loved sport.

Madhumay Nath was accompanied by Kreeda Bharati J&K president, Shiv Kumar Sharma and District Reasi head of the organisation, Madan Lal Sharma. Top functionaries of UT unit and district body of the Kreeda Bharati were also present, including secretary, R C Vaid and treasurer, Vikas Sharma.

Earlier, students of the school, Raghuvansh Sharma, Tarun Chib, Manvi, Ridhima and Sofia expressed their views on the life, struggle and achievements of Major Dhyan Chand amidst colourful cultural programme.

Prominent among others present were Kuldeep Pandoh, Kuldeep Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma (president school management committee) and Kanav Sharma. The programme was conducted by Manju Abrol and Sakshi Rakwal.
