KCS Judicial aspirants plea for postponing exams again

Srinagar, Oct 28 : Kashmiri aspirants scheduled to appear in KCS (Judicial) examinations are at a visible disadvantage owing to the turmoil of past four months in Valley, which brings a consequent advantage to their counterparts from and other regions.

With examinations of KCS judicial scheduled on 10th November 2016, Kashmiri aspirants told KNS that they are worried as “we have not been able to prepare themselves for the said examination reasons being constant and continued shutdown in the Valley which has obviously limited their asses to the books, not only have book shops being closed here but accesses to the public and institutional libraries have not been possible.”

The aspirants said that the suspension of internet services has made the matter even worse as they have not been able to benefit from online resource as well.

“Beside all, we (aspirants) will feel completely at a disadvantage to reach safely to the examination centre during the current mayhem,” they said.

They said that they tried to articulate their apprehension before the law minister and public service commission in this regard.

However, the aspirants said that the minister as well the PSC official “could not address our concern where the law minister was not able to meet them citing his other engagements.”

They said that the secretary public service commission authorities made them to wait for four hours long, ultimately send them back brazenly telling them that the examinations cannot be deferred for the region individually.

Aspirants told that in such a situation, the aspirants feel push to the wall and are desperate trying to get the examination deferred even though they did not know how to go about it.
