    Is safe for tourists?

, December 11 (KIP):_ Is Kashmir valley the safest place as
claimed by Chief Minister,Mehbooba Mufti ?There are doubts about it.
Yes she may have been motivated to call Kashmir the safest place for
tourists after the separatists invited tourists, home as well as
    foreigners, to visit Kashmir.

Chief Minister is right when she has said that let tourists
enjoy the hospitality of the people in Kashmir. Yes, hoteliers,
houseboat owners, traders and transporters may show hospitality to
their customers but what about militants who continue to operate in
    the valley.

Though the security functionaries say that there could be not
more than 100 militants active in the valley but a dozen can have the
    potential of derailing peace.

In the contexts of fresh calendars issued by separatists for
hartals and when people respond to these calls where shall tourists
move. They do not want to spend money for endangering their lives.
Tourists, either foreign or home tourists, want a hassle free journey
in Kashmir. Will Chief Minister guarantee peace? will separatists
ensure peace for tourists ? So long tourists do not have any guarantee
from the right quarters they may not be able to visit Kashmir.

Pakistani troops continue to resort to ceasefire violations.
and within the valley militants keep on attacking soft targets which
    has further vitiated peace(KIP)
