Highly placed sources in the BJP informed that the party high command has taken a serious note of the matter and pulled up the J&K party unit for failing to call the General House Meeting of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) since the last around a year since the first lockdown was imposed.

The concerned BJP leaders, the main being the Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, were told in the meeting to urgently call the General House Meeting of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), he said.
“If Parliament session and also assembly sessions in many states can be convened then what is the reason that JMC has not called the General House Meeting in around a year, the message of the party high command was conveyed to the J&K leaders,” they said.
