JKMEF deputation calls on Advisor Kumar

, Dec 13: A deputation of JK Medical Employees Federation led by its president S Dharminder Singh Bhargav on Thursday called upon Hon'ble Advisor to Governor K Vijay Kumar, at convention hall, circuit house, Jammu and apprised him of several demands of the federation. The delegation also included members of the federation R K Sharma, S Waryam Singh, Praveen Kumar, S. Avtar Singh, Madan Lal, Ashok Massih.
A representation for extending the benefits of cabinet order No. 186/14/2014 dated 16/10/2014 and Govt. order No. 1061-GAD of 2014 dated 16/10/20124 i.e. inclusion of the service render by the migrant substitute of Division.
Sanction is hereby accorded to the counting of past service rendered by the migrant substitute prior to their regularization for the purpose pension benefit only provided that the total qualifying service shall not exceed 28 years the finance department shall incorporate the necessary provisions in the rules wherever required accordingly.
The delegation apprised the Advisor about the step motherly treatment of the previous Govt. towards Adhoc/Contractual/ Consolidated employees with regard to pension benefits and demanded that benefit of Govt. order No. 1061-GAD of 2014 should be extended to all Adhoc/Contractual/Consolidated employees regularized by the State Government on the analogy of the migrant substitute employees of Kashmir Division to put an end to the prevailing discrimination.
The Hon'ble Advisor gave a very patient hearing to the delegation and after thorough deliberations on the spot instructions were issued for arranging a meeting with the concerned authorities in this connection.
The delegation exuded confidence that the Hon'ble Advisor to Governor and the Governor Administration will kindly see through the nefarious designs and adverse implications underlying such selective Govt. orders, which are discriminatory and Unconstitutional and Undemocratic.
