Jammu, Apr 26: Led by president, Shiv Kumar Sharma, members of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association (JKISWA) called on Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur-Reasi Range, Mohd Suleman Choudhary at Udhampur.
The JKISWA members discussed in detailed the involvement of youth in sports activities, especially those games which enjoy the local popularity with the objective to keep the youngsters away from the menace of drugs.
During the interaction, Shiv Sharma also asked for financial assistance, under CAP, from the J&K Police Department for the successful conduct of popular Moungri Dangal.
Members also discussed the proposed 49th Roun Domail Kesari Vishal Dangal scheduled for April 15. The local dangal committee also invited the DIG to grace the event as chief guest.
Accompanied by Varinder Kumar Badyal, state vice-president; Om Parkash Verma , Udhampur district president and Samar Singh, member Roun Domail Dangal Committee were part of the team which interacted with the DIG
