    JKBOSE Class 12 Results Declared: 75% Pass, Girls Outshine Boys Again

    SRINAGAR, Apr 30:  The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Higher Secondary Part Two (Class 12) Annual Examination 2025, reporting an overall pass percentage of 75%. Out of 1,03,308 students who appeared, 77,311 cleared the examination.

    Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 80%, compared to 69% for boys. In the distinction category (75% and above), 30,622 students qualified, while 36,131 secured first division (60% and above). Another 30,034 students achieved second division (48% and above), and only 74 passed in the third division.

    The board reported that 970 students failed, while 25,027 are required to reappear in one or more subjects. There were also 42 absentees, 30 examination cancellations, 24 disputed eligibility cases, and 3 disqualifications.

    Among streams, the Commerce stream recorded the highest pass rate at 79%, followed by Science at 75% and Arts at 66%. Subjects such as Persian, Philosophy, Islamic Studies, and Punjabi saw near-perfect pass rates, while vocational courses like Health Care, Automotive, and Beauty & Wellness registered strong performance, with most students scoring in the first division.

    JKBOSE has extended congratulations to all successful candidates and encouraged those needing to reappear to prepare well for the upcoming supplementary exams.
