JKABA organises Pulwama Boxing meet

Srinagar, Mar 12: Pulwama District Boxing Championship, organised by J&K Amateur Boxing Association (JKABA) received an encouraging response from budding youngsters at Hajhad Public School Avantipora, here.

The event held under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association (JKOA) and sponsored by J&K Council (JKSC) and the organising committee included Farooq Ahmad Khan, Asif Ahmad, Shoaib, Zulfikar and Kamran Hassan.

Principal Hajad Public Avantipora presented the medals and certificates to the meritorious boxers.

 

The Detailed Results:

 

Sub Junior Boys: 28-30 kg: Rayil Farooq, gold; Rasikh Fida, silver and Junaid Andrabi, bronze. 30-32 kg: Zaid Zahoor, gold; Mohd Muesal, silver and Mohd Arif, 3rd. 32-34 kg: Irfan Manzoor, gold; Rizwan Sheikh, silver and Monin Manzoor, 3rd. 34-36 kg: Yasir, gold; Owais Wani, silver and  Faizan Javaid, 3rd. 36-38 kg: Umar Ismail, gold; Aifat, silver and Wasim Junaid, 3rd. 40-42 kg: Mohd Suja, gold; Mehran, silver and Showkat Mushtaq, 3rd.

 

Junior Boys: 48- 50 kg: Umar Ahmad, gold; Imran Kaisar, silver and Faizan Ahmad, bronze. 50-52 kg: Mohsin, Ist; Mohd Arfan, 2nd and Kifayat Bashir, bronze. 52-54 kg: Midhan Faroze, gold; Manzoor Ahmad, silver and  Mohd Ibrahim, bronze. 54-57 kg: Zeeshan, gold; Sokan Bilal, silver and Mohd Manzoor, bronze.

 

Senior (men): 60-63.5 kg: Kashif Bhat, gold; Farkan Mushtaq, silver and Aehsan Manzoor, bronze. 63.5 to 67 kg: Zaid Farooq, gold; Umar Farooq, silver and Monin Nazar, bronze. 67-71 kg: Danish Mohiuddin, gold; Mohd Shoaib, silver and  Mohd Arif, bronze.

 

Sub Junior Girls: 28-30 kg: Aabroo Bashir, gold; Akreena, silver and Aleefa, bronze. 30-32 kg: Muqudas, gold; Arbeena, silver and Arifana, bronze.

 

34-36 kg: Aayat Junaid, gold; Pakeeza, silver and Aalina, bronze. 36-38 kg: Aavnun Bashir, gold; Jan Faka Farooq, silver and Kubra Jan, bronze.

 

Junior Girls: 50-52 kg: Nazia Bashir, Ist; Falak Niyaz, silver and Kaama Jan, bronze. 54-57 kg: Aafia Junaid, gold; Aaina Dar, silver and Rubia Jan, bronze.
