JAMMU, Jan 4: The Department of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Jammu & Kashmir, has instructed all enrolled notaries to submit their annual returns for 2024 in Form XIV, as per Rule 14 of the Notaries Rules, 1956.
A circular issued by the department mandates that the returns be filed during the first week of January each year. Notaries who fail to submit their returns within the deadline will be granted a seven-day grace period. After this period, appropriate action will be taken under the rules if the returns are not received.
