Jammu Tawi: The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has issued a notification under Section 13(1) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, appointing all Station House Officers (SHOs) not below the rank of Inspector, along with Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) at J&K Police Headquarters, as Special Police Officers within their respective jurisdictions.
