Rajouri/Jammu, Oct 3: A Jammu and Kashmir policeman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Rajouri district, officials said on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Constable Shubam Choudhary, who was posted in Poonch. He was reportedly returning from Nowshera town to his native village when the incident occurred.
The body was recovered during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday and has been sent for postmortem.
Authorities have launched a probe to ascertain the cause of death. (Agencies)
