Jawan dies of bullet shot on LoC in Poonch
Jammu Tawi, Sep 1 : A jawan died of bullet shot under mysterious circumstances on Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A jawan identified as Mohan Lal of 37 Rashtriya Rifles, who was posted at Dabraj Balnoi Sector of tehsil Mendhar this afternoon died of bullet injury while on duty at a forward post on Line of Control,'' a police officer here said.
He said that whether he died due to accidental fire or it was a sniper shot from across the border or a BAT action, it is being ascertained.
