Jammu dominates in Division Yoga meet

Katra (Reasi), Oct 16: District dominated in the annual inter- district  Division level Yoga (boys) competition which held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and (DYSS) at Sanjyog Hall, here.

In the valedictory function, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Anshumali Sharma was the chief guest, who encouraged the participants. Earlier, Tarsem Singh, district (DYSS) officer welcomed the distinguished guests.

Near 100 participants represented districts of Kishtwar, Doda, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu and Rajouri.

Also present were Ram Krishan Bhat (Zonal Physical Officer) Reasi; Anil Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Anubhav Dev and Rajesh Bandral.

The event was assisted by Devinder Kour, Saroj Bala, Ashoka Kumari, Kuldeep Kumar, Opinder Pal Singh, Deep Singh, Jagdev Singh, Mohd Raiz,  Anoop Jyoti, Virender Singh, Asha Devi, Tahir Bilal and Rahul Bakshi.

 

The Results:

Under-14: Arnav Singh (Jammu ), Ist; Lakash (Jammu), 2nd; Banshu Sharma (Jammu), 3rd, Akhilesh Choudhary  (Jammu),4th and Mridul Raj Gupta (Jammu), 5th.

Under-17: Shaurya Bandral (Jammu), Ist; Krishana Choudhary (Jammu), 2nd; Adersh Koul (3rd);  Sachin Kumar (Udhampur),4th; Romil Bhat (Jammu), 5th and Saransh Panotra (Jammu), 6th.

Under-19: Himanshu Verma (Jammu),Ist; Devank Sharma (Jammu),2nd; Dev Mehra (Jammu), 3rd; Raghuvansh Verma (Jammu),4th and Surinder Rajput (Jammu),5th and Anshul Sharma, 6th.
