Inter-School Zonal Level competitions, selection trials concludes in Dansal Zone

, Sep 4: The Department of Youth Services & , Dansal Zone, successfully concluded the Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions and Selection Trials for boys and girls under the U/19 years category.

The competitions covered a wide range of sports disciplines, including Chess, Carrom, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Tug of War, Wrestling, , Football, Handball, Badminton, and Basketball. The event took place on September 4, 2023, under the chairmanship of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma, and received overall supervision from Zonal Physical Officer Dansal, Anita Sharma.

The event witnessed participation from approximately 200 boys and 100 girls, all displaying their enthusiasm and dedication in various sports events.

ZPEO Dansal, Anita Sharma, took a moment to appreciate and encourage all participants for their active involvement in these games, recognizing the positive impact on their future. She also extended her gratitude to the dedicated staff members for their sincere efforts in organizing and conducting the tournament smoothly.

The presence and support of Senior Lecturer HSS Kathar Manwal, Anita Sharma, and other officials from Zone Dansal added to the success and enthusiasm of the tournament.
