Govt to go tough against absentee employees in Kashmir valley


Srinagar, Sep 1 :  Expressing concern about the irregular attendance of a section of employees, and government has decided not to release salary of absentees for the month of September.

An official spokesperson said here this afternoon that while reviewing the attendance of employees in government offices, the Chief Secretary, B R Sharma has expressed displeasure about the non-installation and implementation of Aadhar Enabled Bio metric Attendance System (AEBAS) in many offices across the State.

The Chief Secretary has directed that the AEBAS be installed forthwith and implemented in all the government offices.
