Govt. employees in Kashmir announce abstaining duties

    Date:

Srinagar, Sep 8:  The Civil Secretariat employees Thursday held a protest programme in the lawns of Civil Secretariat against what they called callous approach of State Administration.

The protesting employees said they are being forced to attend their duties given the fact the prevailing situation is volatile and an employee is hardly able to move out from his house.

Chairman Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee Ghulam Rasool Mir along with President Lower Grade Employees Union Maqbool Hussain while addressing the employees asked that it has been unanimously decided that no employee either from the Civil Secretariat shall attend the office in view of prevailing situation. They said that security to their lives is first priority and they can’t take risk and put their lives in danger.
