GLTF reiterates no transfer policy for ReTs


: In continuation of its struggle for bringing up better scenario in state and remind the present regime about its commitment of stream lining the state education setup, General Line Teachers Forum organized a press conference at Press Club Jammu under the chairmanship of Neeraj Sharma State President, while addressing the press Neeraj Sharma said that the present Government is expected earnestly to undo the wrong decisions taken up during the previous regime , the education department was completely in disarray and no rule or regulation was left to follow.

He said that the govt order no. 469 of 2014 ” Favoring 5 year service and transfer for RETs was a misadventure by a previous govt and was illogical, uncalled and gravely detrimental for general line teachers recruited through SSB , hence should be rescinded immediately.

Secondly, Sharma reminded of the education minister to issue an order for which he had said in legislative assembly that the salary of all unauthorized transfer of RETs would not be released till the time they report back to their original places of posting or engagement and immediate “closure of ReTs scheme” which caused colossal damage to the department due to its misuse. He also demanded the immediate general adjustment order in favour of teachers promoted to master in February 2014 DPC which is delayed for more than 2 years raising the question mark on the capability of authorities. Further, he demanded for timely release NPS and other salary grants.
