Girls outshine boys in Class 12 JK Board Results; 65 per cent qualify exams

Tawi, Jun 09: The Board of School (BOSE) on Friday announced annual regular results of 12th standard with an overall pass percentage of 65 per cent. Students who appeared for the J&K Class 12 board exams 2023 and awaiting their results can now download their results from the official website at www.jkbose.nic.in.

The results show that the girls students yet again have outshined boys in the exams.

According to BOSE, the total pass percentage includes 61 per cent in boys and 68 per cent among girls students.

BOSE said that a total of 1,27,636 candidates were enrolled for the exams for JKBOSE Class 12 exams this year for different streams such as Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational of which 82,441 successfully qualified it.

This year, the Class 12 board exams for the division were conducted from March 11 to May 15, 2023, and for the Jammu division, the exams were held from March 8 to April 2, 2023.

Students are required to use their Roll Number and Registration Number to log in on the official website to check their J&K 12th Result 2023.

The JKBOSE 12th result re-evaluation process will begin soon. It allows students to address their dissatisfaction. The application window for re-evaluation of the JKBOSE 12th class result 2023 will be opened in due course. It's important to note that students who have scored less than 20% marks will not be eligible to apply for re-evaluation of their JKBOSE 12th result.
