Jammu, Feb 23: A 21-year-old girl allegedly shot herself with a 12 bore gun at her home in Bhajwal area of Sunderbani in Rajouri district on Sunday.
Officials said that a girl namely Shivani Devi, daughter of Gurdhar Lal, resident of Upper Bhajwal shot allegedly herself with a licensed 12 Bore gun at home. She sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to SDM Sunderbani, where doctors referred her to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
