GDC Ramban women win JU Boxing title


, October 20: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban bagged the women's inter-college boxing tournament which was organised by the Directorate of , University of Jammu (JU) on the campus, here today.
The college team secured two gold to top the medal tally. The medals won by Samta Devi and Seijal Manhas. The runners-up trophy went to Government College for Women (GCW) Parade with Muskan Khaton and Shalu Devi winning the medals.
Associate Professor, Department of Law, JU, Dr. Vijay Sehgal was chief guest, who presented the title trophies to the women teams. The bouts officiated by the technical penal including Jai Bharat, Harinderpal Singh, Sandeep Singh Chib, Hardesh Singh, Anil Singh Chib, Goutam Sharma, Sarfaraz Choudhary and Anshuman Khajuria.
