DGPC urges BJP to induct Sikh nominee in Cabinet

The District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu has urged the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) to give representation to Sikh community in state cabinet through its quota. In a meeting of elected members of DGPC Jammu held here, it was brought expressed that for a long time no member from the Sikh Community has been inducted into cabinet due to which the Sikh community is deprived of its right of political representation in State Government. All the members unanimously agreed upon the name of S. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa MLC to be inducted into Cabinet, as he is senior most leader of BJP and is a good Statesman and is a very active social activist and has been putting in his best efforts for upliftment of society and of Bhartiya Janata Party too, so on the behalf of all Sikh Community we recommend that he must be inducted in State Cabinet during the forthcoming reshuffle of BJP Ministers. Prominent among those present in the meeting include S. Darbinder Singh (Member DGPC), S. Ramnik Singh (Member DGPC), S Fateh Singh (Member DGPC), S. Raja Singh (Member DGPC), S. Lachman Singh Gill (Retd. S.P.), S. Avtar Singh (Chairman, Panchayat Chatha), S. Devinder Singh Kaka (Social Activist), S. Bhupinder Singh Tara, S. Rajinder Singh (Chairman Social Welfare Committee), S. Waryam Singh (Contractor), S. Jasvinder Singh, S. Rupinder Singh Vicky, S. Jasmeet Singh, S. Ajeet Singh (Himmat Motor Transport), Parvinder Singh (Transporter), S. Nanak Singh (Panch), S. Charanjeet Singh (Panch), S. Harpal Singh, S. Harpal Singh (Transporter), S. Chanchal Singh (Industrialist), S. Gurdev Singh (Businessman), S. Paramjeet Singh, S. Maninder Singh.
