DDC reviews dev works

The District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting to take a detailed stock of ongoing development works being executed under and Departments. The meeting was told that work on a wide network of hospitals, sub-centres is under progress, and most of them shall be completed during the current financial year. Model Hospital Trehgam, CHC Sogam, Main Block of District Hospital Kupwara is included in the targeted buildings of current fiscal. In Education sector, about 150 works were conceived in the district plan for fencing of all those schools which are prone to wildlife attacks, and nearly 90% of such works have been completed. The DDC emphasized on the need of sticking to timelines of both education and health infrastructure related projects and directed the implementing agencies to complete the pending works on time.
