Chief Agri Officer Kishtwar held for alleged outraging modesty employee


Doda, October 14: Chief Officer (CAO), Kishtwar was arrested by police on Friday on the charges of outraging modesty of IV class employee.

Woman had filed a court complaint against the officer and on the directions of court; police has today arrested the officer on charges of outraging modesty of Class IV employee.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar Sundeep Wazir said, “A IV class employee lodged a complaint against the officer in court, on the directions; we have arrested the officer and put him under custody. The further investigation in this case has been on.”

However, a case under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty) of IPC was registered against the officer.
