Chances of all militants getting killed in Kashmir are remote

Chances of all militants getting killed in are remote

, March 6 (KIP):  Will the security forces be able to eliminate
all the militants, who continue to operate in Jammu and Kashmir?
Possibilities seem to be remote in the light of growing number of
militants in the valley.

As long as Pakistan and its Army continue to provide material,
moral and diplomatic support to militants incidents of violence are
bound to increase. On one hand Pakistan Army has not stopped helping
militants in infiltrating into Jammu and Kashmir, on the other two
militant outfits, Lashkar-i-Toiba and Hizbul Mujahideen, have started
enrolling educated youth in their outfits. These two factors have
resulted in the increase in the number of militants.

Security forces, including the Army and the police, have been
directed to intensify search operations and as a result of offensive
launched by the security forces every day encounters between the
security forces and the militants take place. It is not only the
security forces but the militants too are on the offensive and do not
shirk from avoiding encounters.

What is interesting and amazing is the way militants continue
to infiltrate into the valley despite snow bound border routes and
security grid having been further  strengthened. This indicates that
Pak Army continue to provide all possible assistance  to militants in
crossing into Kashmir though the rate of ingress has come down. But as
long as ingress rate does not touch zero level the security scenario
in Kashmir may remain fluid.(KIP)
