Jammu Tawi, July 12: Alert troops of Border Security Force foiled an infiltration bid in Hiranagar Sector of Kathua district along international border of Jammu region.
”BSF foiled an infiltration bid from Pakistan side in Hiranagar sector late hours in intervening night of Jul 10-11,” BSF Spokesman here today said.
He said that a group of 4 to 5 militant approached the International Border and waited for appropriate opportunity to cross over, adding, ”the movement was kept under close observation by alert BSF troops on duty”.
”Aggressive domination by BSF troops made them retreated back under protection of Pakistan Rangers Force,” he added. The spokesman said that on July 9 also one such attempt foiled by alert troops of BSF in Ramgarh Sector. (AGENCIES)
