Beat this: Bulletproof bathrooms for Telangana CM

    Date:

The new camp office of Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao comes with a bulletproof bathroom. As part of elaborate security measures heavy bulletproof glasses have been used for windows and ventilators of the bathrooms of this palatial bungalow.

K Chandrashekhar Rao's new official residence in Begumpet is designed to be a fortress. Apart from the regular armed guards, CCTVs and high compound walls, the bungalow now boasts of bathrooms and bedrooms fitted with bulletproof glasses.

KCR and his son KTR's rooms have been fitted with high quality glasses. The measure was taken to curtail any possibility of a sniper assault on the Telangana CM since some parts of the house are in line of sight and vulnerable. KCR is expected to move to the new camp office on Thursday and elaborate security is already in place.

Over 50 heavily armed security personnel will keep a vigil over the CM's official residence. Metal detectors have been installed at the gates and those wishing to meet the CM are expected to deposit anything metal, including phones and keys to the guards at the gate before entering the house.

The Telangana CM already uses a mine-proof car to foil any assault attempt by maoists adn this bulletproof space is just another security feature that has once again been attributed to advice of security intelligence personnel.
