Jammu Tawi, August 30: BJP senior leader and JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru stressed for strict action against the JDA land encroachers at Durga Nagar and Wazir lane, Talab Tillo in ward 40 and 41, today during the meeting with Vice Chairman of Jammu Development Authority Pankaj Magotra in the presence of JDA officials.
Sanjay Kumar Baru raised the issue of the Wazir lane and Durga Nagar area of Talab Tillo where some miscreants did encroachment on JDA land.
During the meeting Baru submitted documents related the encroachment land, he also reminded VC JDA, who have directed the authorities to lodge FIR against all those who have encroached upon JDA land unlawfully during the tour few months back but no action has been taken till date he added.
Baru said that in past he had highlighted the issue in front of the concerned authorities and locals too requested the Encroachers to vacate the land but when they didn't agree to do it, there was no option left.
Baru said that Vice Chairman JDA has appreciated his concerns and efforts to safeguard the Government Properties and ensured JMC Councillor for the steps to vacate the encroached land at the earliest.
