    Australia and England to lock horns in exciting 2024 limited overs series

    Australia Set to Take On England and Scotland in 2024 Limited Overs Series

    fans have something exciting to look forward to as the Australian cricket team has announced their squads and schedule for the short tour of the United Kingdom next year. The touring Australians will first face Scotland in three T20I matches in Edinburgh in early September before locking horns with arch rivals England.

    The highly anticipated T20I and ODI series between Australia and England will commence on September 11th with three T20I matches. The first encounter will take place at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. Subsequently, the teams will travel to Cardiff and Manchester to play the remaining two T20I games on September 13th and 15th respectively.

    Following the conclusion of the T20I segment, attention will shift to the 50-over format as both powerhouses clash in a five match ODI series. The opening ODI is scheduled for September 19th at Nottingham's Trent Bridge. Headingley in Leeds, Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street and the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London will host the next three matches on September 21st, 24th and 27th. The series will come to an end with the fifth and final ODI on September 29th in Bristol.

    The squads announced by both England and Australia feature top stars along with some new talented prospects. England have entrusted the leadership duties to white-ball captain Jos Buttler while Mitchell Marsh will be spearheading the Australians. Fans will be keen to see the returning superstars showcase their skills during what promises to be a thrilling limited overs battle between these cricket giants.
