Army reaches out to Ratnuchak Kids

July 11:   Based on special request of locals of Ratnuchak area and continuing with the skill initiative of imparting Basic Computer Training to children hailing from villages of Ratnuchak, the Sabre Brigade of Rising Star Corps conducted the fifth capsule of computer awareness for a batch of 33 Children from 27 June 2016 to 09 July 2016.

139 Children hailing from various villages in Purmondal area haven were imparted basic computer Training at the computer training laboratory of the Army.

The computer training is being provided as a goodwill gesture, keeping in mind the lack of such facilities for the locals in the area. Apart from the training, the Indian Army is also catering for free transportation of the children to avail this facility. Commander, Sabre Brigade interacted with the children attending the computer capsule and emphasized the importance of computer literacy in the . As an incentive, all children attending the capsule were gifted books on Basic Computer and were also given a Course Certificate.
