    Jammu Tawi: A significant meeting was held at Gurudwara Sahib Sant Bhai Sundar Singh Ji, Akhnoor, under the supervision of S. Ranbir Singh, a member of the DGPC, alongside local Sikh community leaders and committee members. The meeting aimed to address the pressing issue of the damaged boundary wall of the Gurudwara Sahib, which was swept away during recent floods, posing a threat to the structure and its surroundings.

    The meeting saw the participation of Ajay Sadhotra, Ex-Minister and Working Additional General Secretary of the J&K National Conference (NC), who assured full support for the reconstruction of the wall. He committed to taking the matter to the concerned authorities and leadership within the NC. Senior NC leader S. Jatinder Singh Lucky, also present at the meeting, reiterated the party’s commitment to the welfare of all communities, including the Sikh community.

    The gathering included other dignitaries such as Raghubir Singh, Ayub Malik, S. Gurmeet Singh Jimmy, Madam Kuldeep Kaur, Sandeep Singh Wazir, Ashwani Charak, and others, alongside prominent local Sikh leaders. The meeting concluded with a unanimous call for urgent action to restore the safety and sanctity of the Gurudwara Sahib.

    Attendees expressed their gratitude to Ajay Sadhotra and other leaders for their commitment to addressing the concerns of the Sikh community in the region.
