Domestic carrier Air India Express has launched an Independence Day special sale allowing travelers to book flights within India at highly competitive fares. Dubbed the ‘Fly the Tricolor’ promotion, the sale offers one-way tickets starting from just Rs. 1,947 for travel between August 20th and September 30th.
To avail of these low ticket prices, bookings must be made by August 5th. Seats under the sale are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Regular fare rules and charges will apply once the promoted inventory is sold out.
In addition to slashing fares, the airline is providing additional savings through the sale. Passengers can obtain 15% off on base domestic airfares. There are also discounts of up to 90% on excess baggage charges and a 20% reduction on Singapore visa fees.
The Independence Day offer allows travelers to plan their trips across India at pocket-friendly rates. However, cancellation and rescheduling are not permitted as per the standard terms. Flyers must carefully select dates that work with their schedules to make the most of this promotional sale by the domestic carrier.
