    A measured and restrained response!

Operation ‘Sindoor’ was neither impulsive nor aggressive — it was inevitable. After the heinous Pahalgam tragedy, where 26 innocent Hindu pilgrims were slaughtered in cold blood, India was left with no choice. This was not just an act of terror — it was a brutal reminder that Pakistan continues to provide safe haven, moral support, and direct facilitation to those who spill blood on Indian soil.

India waited for 12 long days, it gave Pakistan a chance — a window to reflect, to restrain, and to act. But instead of course correction, Pakistan resorted to provocation. Continuous shelling across our borders, reckless rhetoric, and silence on terror — all pointed to one harsh truth: nothing will change unless India compels change.

Let the record be clear: India did not start a ‘War’. India did not retaliate blindly. Instead, it suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, a diplomatic and sovereign move well within its rights — only to be absurdly labeled by Pakistan as an “act of war.” If Pakistan spills blood in Jammu & Kashmir, how can it expect Indian waters to flow freely into its land?

The response — Operation ‘Sindoor’ — was precise, targeted, and extraordinarily restrained. No Pakistani military installations were touched. There was zero collateral damage. The Indian strike exclusively hit terrorist infrastructure — the very same camps that train and shelter those who murder civilians in Kashmir. It was a limited strike against the enemies of India, not against the state of Pakistan. Yet, Pakistan’s reaction now rings hollow — for it contradicts its own claim that it is not harboring terrorists.

The people of India — Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians — stood united in the aftermath of Pahalgam. From every corner of the country, citizens demanded action. Even Indian Muslims took to the streets, seeking strict action against the Pakistan. This was not a religious or political divide — this was the voice of a nation that refuses to be a silent victim any longer.

But Pakistan’s response is once again shameful. Today, in Poonch, more than a dozen Indian civilians have lost their lives and over 50 have been injured in indiscriminate cross-border firing by Pakistan Army. Is this a responsible nation’s response to a counter-terror operation? Or is this the reaction of a regime so entangled in its support for jihadist elements that it cannot distinguish between diplomacy and disaster?

In a country firmly led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, such bloodshed cannot go unanswered. Under his strong leadership, India has already carried out three decisive strikes against Pakistan — the 2016 Surgical Strikes, the 2019 Balakot Airstrikes, and now 2025 Operation ‘Sindoor’ — each demonstrating restraint, strategic depth, and national resolve.

Do not escalate this. India has shown maturity, precision, and restraint. But if pushed further, India will not hesitate to exercise its full right to self-defense. Pakistan must stop using terrorism as an instrument of state policy. It must not misread India’s maturity as weakness.

The choice is Pakistan’s. If it wants peace, it must act like a responsible state. But if it chooses to escalate, it must be prepared to face the full consequences in near future also.

India has spoken. Now, it’s Pakistan’s turn — to retreat from the edge, or be ready to face what comes next.
