Jammu Tawi, Feb 09: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported 55 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the tally of total positive cases to 125,007, however, no death was reported in the last 24 hours in the Union Territory.
Of the exact number of 125,007 cases, 73,333 are from Kashmir and 51,674 from Jammu division. Officials told that among 55 new cases, 38 belong to Kashmir division while as 17 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 73,333 including 71,636 recoveries and 1,222 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 51,674 including 50,834 recoveries and 722 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 593 including 475 from Kashmir division and 118 from Jammu division.
With 55 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 122,470 which is 97.97 percent of the total cases.
