    J&K: Suspected IED Recovered in Ganderbal

    SRINAGAR, Feb 21: Security forces on Saturday detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed inside a bag along a roadside in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.

    The suspected explosive was found at Gulab Sheikh Mohalla near Kohestan Colony in the Safapora area during routine checks, prompting an immediate security alert in the locality.

    Officials said a bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot to examine and neutralise the device, while the area was secured to prevent any civilian movement.
