    LG Sinha expresses grief over loss of lives

    Jammu Tawi, Jan 27: At least four persons, including a CRPF jawan, were killed and several others injured in a road accident near Jakhani Chowk in the Udhampur district on Tuesday, officials said.

    An official said that the accident took place after a bus collided with a pickup truck, resulting into the death of four persons, including CRPF jawan. He said that the CRPF personnel were travelling in the bus. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, he added.

    Meanwhile, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has condoled the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Udhampur, today.

    In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor has said: “I am deeply pained by the loss of precious lives in the tragic road accident in Udhampur. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Praying for a speedy recovery of the injured.”
