Jammu Tawi, Jan 18: The BJP high command has summoned all the National Executive and State Executive members of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi ahead of the election for its National President.
There are eight (08) National Executive members and one hundred and eight (108) State Executive members of the J&K BJP, who are the eligible voters for the election of the National President.
“Around 60 voters, including both from National Executive and State Executive today left for Delhi on directions of BJP high command and the rest will reach tomorrow,” reliable sources in the BJP informed the Northlines.
It may be mentioned that the nomination for the National President of the BJP will be on tomorrow and all the voters for electing the President from across the country, including J&K, will be present at Delhi on this occasion, sources said.
The J&K BJP President, Sat Sharma, General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul, and BJP MLA from Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, also left for Delhi today on Vandhe Bharat Train.
Sources said that the senior leaders of the BJP, including the National Executive and State Executive, will also hold discussions with the top party leaders regarding the upcoming Budget session and various other issues relating to J&K.
