Kupwara, Dec 16: An Army soldier was killed in a landmine explosion in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday.
Havildar Zubair Ahmad of the 13 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry was critically injured in the blast at Putaha Khan Gali in the Trehgam area of the border district on Monday, officials said.
He was immediately rushed to a military hospital in Drugmulla, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, they added. (Agencies)
