Rajouri, Nov 24: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, conducted surprise inspections across several government offices on Monday, leading to disciplinary action against 12 employees who were found absent without authorization, officials said.
The Deputy Commissioner immediately ordered the deduction of one day’s salary for all absent employees and instructed that strict disciplinary proceedings be initiated for negligence of duty.
Sharma further directed heads of departments to ensure punctuality, maintain accurate attendance records, and enforce accountability. He warned that similar surprise inspections will continue in the coming days to improve administrative efficiency. (KNC)
