Jammu, Nov 24: Jammu & Kashmir will continue to witness predominantly dry weather conditions for the next two weeks, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said on Monday, warning of fog and a further dip in temperatures in several areas.

Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, said the weather will remain generally dry across the Union Territory from November 24 to December 1.

He added that on December 2, the weather may turn generally cloudy by afternoon, with a brief spell of very light snowfall likely over isolated higher reaches.

From December 3 to 10, dry weather is again expected to prevail.

According to the MeT Centre, shallow to moderate fog is likely at many places in the Kashmir division and at isolated locations in the Jammu division in the coming days.

The department also predicted a fall of 1–2°C in maximum and minimum temperatures over the next week. (Agencies)
