“No One Will Be Spared”: PM Modi on Red Fort Blast Probe

Thimphu, Nov 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday vowed that all those responsible for the deadly Red Fort blast in Delhi will be brought to justice, assuring that the culprits “will not be spared.”

Addressing a public gathering at the Changlimithang celebration ground in Bhutan, where he is attending the 70th birthday celebrations of the fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the Prime Minister said Monday’s “horrifying” explosion had shocked the entire nation.

“I understand the pain of those affected by the blast. The entire country stands firmly with the families of the victims,” Modi said. He added that he had held overnight meetings with investigating agencies, directing them to uncover the full conspiracy behind the attack.

The high-intensity explosion, which tore through a slow-moving car near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, killed 12 people and injured over 20, setting several vehicles ablaze.

Modi’s statement comes as Delhi and several states remain on high alert, with central agencies conducting extensive raids in search of those behind the attack. (Agencies)
