Dimple leads protest rally over mysterious deaths in Rajouri

Jammu Tawi: Sunil Dimple, President Mission Statehood, led a strong protest rally from Amphalla to Janipur High Court Chowk in Jammu, demanding justice for the 16 innocent people who died under mysterious circumstances in Badhaal Rajouri. The rally aimed to draw attention to the ongoing crisis in Rajouri, where the cause of the deaths remains unexplained.

During the rally, Dimple called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to visit the site of the deaths in Badhaal Rajouri immediately. He also demanded that the authorities initiate a thorough investigation, calling for a CBI and NIA inquiry into the mysterious deaths.

Dimple threatened to call for a Jammu bandh in support of the people of Rajouri if the government fails to solve the case. He further urged the government to arrange helicopter services to airlift critically ill patients from Rajouri to PGI Chandigarh or AIIMS Delhi, alleging that many patients have died during the journey to Jammu due to delays in medical transport.

Dimple also expressed concerns over the alleged mismanagement at GMC Rajouri and Jammu, calling these hospitals “death hubs” and demanding an immediate reshuffle of the medical staff. He accused the government of failing to provide necessary treatment and facilities for patients, forcing them to travel long distances only to return dead.

“One month has passed, and the government has done nothing. The patients are being referred to Jammu, but instead of treatment, they return as dead bodies. This is unacceptable,” said Dimple.

He also claimed that many people from Rajouri, including areas like Badhaal and Kotranka, are migrating to safer places due to the fear and lack of adequate medical facilities. Dimple appealed to both LG Manoj Sinha and CM Omar Abdullah to visit the affected areas, offer compensation to the victims’ families, and take responsibility for the situation.
