Navy chief gives ‘ABCD’ mantra of life at NCC R-Day camp

New Delhi: In an inspiring address, Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi introduced an ‘ABCD’ mantra aimed at guiding the country’s youth towards achieving greatness. Speaking at the Republic Day NCC Camp, Tripathi underscored his expectations from the younger generation in shaping India’s future. The Admiral lauded the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for its steadfast contribution since 1948, enhancing India’s national fabric. His oration, which included references from revered figures such as Swami Vivekananda and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was designed to instill confidence and ambition among young cadets. Tripathi elaborated on ‘ABCD’: Attitude and Aptitude, Belief in oneself, Character and Commitment, and Discipline as essential tenets for success. He inspired cadets to remain adaptable, committed, and disciplined in their quest for personal and professional achievements while being ambassadors of India’s prospective transformation into a global power.
