Jammu Tawi, Jan 2: The Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted five IAS officers of AGMUT Cadre from the Jammu and Kashmir to the Selection Grade (Level 13 in the pay matrix).
According to available details, the promoted officers include Asad Aijaz, Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Ravinder Kumar, Piyush Singla, and Amit Sharma. All these officers belong to the 2012 IAS batch.
In a separate order, Four IPS Officers of erstwhile J&K Cadre, currently posted in AGMUT Cadre, Sunil Gupta, Sujeet Kumar, Vivek Kumar, and Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, have been promoted to the IGP grade while as two other IPS officers, Vinod Kumar and Shri Ram Ambarkar Sinkar, have been promoted to the DIGP Cadre.
