Jammu Tawi: Dec 14: Sunil Dimple, president Mission Statehood, led a protest rally in Jammu, condemning the persecution of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh. The protest, held on Janipur High Court Road, saw demonstrators burn effigies of Pakistan and Bangladesh in response to the recent attacks on Hindu temples, killings of religious minorities, and other atrocities in both countries.
Dimple demanded that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiate talks with Bangladesh, urging the country to stop targeting its Hindu population, destroying temples, and committing acts of violence against minorities. He alleged that the Bangladesh army was responsible for killings, forced conversions, and the destruction of Hindu homes and businesses.
Addressing the rally, Dimple also raised concerns about the presence of Rohingya refugees in Jammu and Kashmir. He questioned how they had received Aadhaar cards, utility connections, and domiciles, and accused them of altering the region’s demographic balance. He further claimed that the Rohingyas were involved in illegal activities, including drug smuggling and espionage for Pakistan.
Dimple called for the immediate deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu and Kashmir, citing security risks and the threat they posed to the region’s stability. He also demanded the liberation of Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir (POJK), Gilgit-Baltistan, and other areas under Pakistani control, asserting that the people there wished to join Jammu and Kashmir and India.
The rally was supported by several prominent leaders, including Vinay Agarwal, Suresh Jamwal, BB Bhat, Narender Sharma, Sameer Gupta, Ashok Kumar, and Vishal Kapoor.
