These characters can auto-reply to common queries, helping accounts reach a wider community. Creators also have controls to approve auto-responses for enhanced transparency. Responses will be clearly labelled as coming from an AI.
Beyond assisting profiles, the AI bots are designed for engaging tasks. They can generate jokes, offer travel guidance and participate in other timely conversations. For now, the trained characters can interact on Instagram, but Meta plans to expand this to platforms like WhatsApp and Messenger soon.
