Jio enhances popular Rs. 349 plan, launches new long-validity prepaid bundles

Jio updates its Rs. 349 plan to offer better value to users

In a move to provide more value to its subscribers, leading telecom operator Jio has revised its popular Rs. 349 monthly recharge plan. Under the updated plan, users will now get 30 days of validity instead of the earlier 28 days. This small tweak effectively increases the plan’s overall value for subscribers.

At the same time, Jio has introduced some new long-validity prepaid plans for users looking for options beyond a month. A major plan launched is priced at Rs. 999 and provides as many as 98 days of service. For the price and duration, users can enjoy 2GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited 5G access. Jio has also unveiled plans of Rs. 949 and Rs. 1,049 with 84 days validity that bundle OTT subscriptions.

All the new plans are competitively priced when compared to similar offerings from other operators. For instance, Jio’s Rs. 349 plan now matches a plan from a competitor but at no extra cost to users. Similarly, the 98-day Rs. 999 pack undercuts an identical plan from a rival network.

In addition, Jio is offering ‘5G bonus’ add-ons priced Rs. 51, Rs. 101 and Rs. 151 specifically for users with select base plans. These provide unlimited high-speed 5G data access. The enhancements are aimed at delivering better value and an enriched experience to Jio customers.

The updates reinforce Jio’s commitment to customer-first approach while ensuring its plans remain highly competitive in the market. With long-validity bundles and focused add-ons, users have more options to utilize Jio’s 5G services as per their needs. It will be interesting to see how other operators match up to these value-focused improvements.
