Jammu, Jan 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have conferred the DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate to 416 police personnel for their exceptional service. Among the honorees, three Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) — Sahil Sarangal, Virinder Singh Manhas, and Amarjit Singh — were recognized for their outstanding contributions to law enforcement in the Union Territory.
The commendation also acknowledged the remarkable efforts of SPs Noor-ul-Hassan, Pardeep Kumar, and Altaf Hussain, along with Additional SP Zafar Iqbal Nawaz. Several Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) were honored, including Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Ashish Gupta, Javaid Iqbal Tabassam, Viqar Younus, Shammi Kumar, Ishan Gupta, Sumit Kumar Sharma, Dheeraj Kumar, Raman Kumar, Javid Iqbal Attar, Mohammad Sulaman, Farooq Ahmad, Mohd Azeem, Showkat Ahmad, Showkat Abdullah, Kulwant Singh, Neeraj Kumar, Neeraj Serna, Champa Devi Sharma, Kirpal Singh, Vijai Singh, Sartaj Ahmed Yaqoob Ganie, Kuldeep Raj, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Rishi Singh, and Farah Nishat.
The honor roll further included Inspectors who demonstrated exemplary dedication to their duties.
