Jammu Tawi, Feb 12: Two persons were killed after a government truck met with an accident near Manda, the very starting point of the Jammu city on Friday afternoon,
Officials told that the truck was of Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering department and both the deceased were employees of the department.
They said that the vehicle was on way from Nagrota towards Jammu when it met with the accident and fell down into Nallah near Peer Baba on Manda road.
They said that the driver of the vehicle and its cleaner were grievously injured in the incident and were shifted to GMC Jammu where they succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased were identified as Mohinder Lal son of Sat Pal resident of RS Pura and Ajay Kumar son of Mulk Raj, a resident of Shakti Nagar Jammu.
