Jammu Tawi, Dec 29: Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday reported 104 fresh positive cases of Covid-19, thus taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,276 while no death was reported in last 24 hours.
With no more death, the death toll in J&K stands at 4,525 and 104 fresh positive cases reported on Wednesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 341,028.
Of the exact number of 341,028 cases, 214,883 are from Kashmir division and 126,145 from Jammu division.
Among 104 new cases, 65 belong to Kashmir division while as 39 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 214,883 including 211,644 recoveries and 2,328 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 126,145 including 123,583 recoveries and 2,197 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,276 including 911 from Kashmir division and 365 from Jammu division.
With 124 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 335,227 which are 98.30 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 33 from Srinagar, 12 from Baramulla, 04 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 02 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 02 from Bandipora, 08 from Ganderbal, 01 each from Kulgam and 00 Shopian in Kashmir division while as 39 from Jammu division include 22 from Jammu division, 02 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 08 from Doda, 01 from Kathua, 02 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 02 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
